There are few words to describe the feeling of walking through the cobbled streets, past the building that used to be the old post office, and turning left onto the view of Mevagissey harbour. This quaint and characterful village is very much a working harbour and home to colourful fishing vessels which bob around in the water. Along the narrow passageways, beautiful independent shops and galleries offer delights (including our favourite local ceramicist Sarah Hunkin who creates stunning textured porcelain fish). Named after two saints - St Mevan and St Issey, this place will always steal our hearts.
The Mevagissey Tail - a highly textured, neutral toned tail, with hues of brown, taupe, gold and grey. Drawing inspiration from the cod fish, with subtle watercolour dapples and a darker back, this tail is a true British coastline design. Ideal for shy, natural mers, who may wish to camouflage along the shoreline.
Special thank you to Jessica Worthington for helping to model this tail. @the_magicmermaid18
