Porthleven is a picturesque fishing port situated on the south coast of Cornwall. Once known for being a refuge for shipwrecks, it is now a foodie and art haven. Porthleven has its very own mermaid, and it was through conversations with The Porthleven Mermaid that the idea for this tail was conceived.
Inspired predominantly by the beautiful mackerel fish found in the area, this high contrast tail incorporates layers of texture and a flash of vibrant blue down the back. The hand drawn markings add distinction to this design. A Cornish classic.
Fin shape shown created for Fish Fin (Lucia) monofin. Can be adapted for the Mahina, Linden, FF3, or for other fins for use with vinyl.

Our tail designs are created using a combination of hand drawn elements combined with digital design, then sublimation printed onto our fabric.
Our tails are created from 250gsm stretch polyester - quick drying and ideal for swim and sportswear.
Can be designed to fit the Lucia/fish fin monofin, the mahina, or Linden - to be purchased separately.
